Time travel to the past or the future?

All my life I've trough a lot about this question, really! but definitely, my answer is to travel to the future. Why? 'cause I can study the past, I can read about all the history, sure, not with details but we know what happened in his time, but the future is a different topic. 

I really want to travel and see what happened with the world, with the technology, with everything. Maybe Chile is not the best thing ever, but something will happen. Can you imagine it? wake up one day and see the TV or social media, and see a new world? 

Of course, is kinda scary to travel to the future, and for that, I just want to travel for a few years, not a lot. Like, just 30 or 50, to see what happens in that time. Especially in Europe and Asia, is fascinating how much technology moves over there.

But I'm not sure if I stay in the future, depends a lot on everything. For example, what is the situation, what happened in all that years, is better, is worst? if the world is still alive! there are so many factors that can influence the final decision. 

I'm indecisive and scared, so, if the future is really bad for sure I travel to the present in a second.
